Dream Team  volunteers are an integral part of our organizational. Our volunteers provide a real world experience to individuals aspiring to dive into this basketball the travel basketball family and give back to their communities. The goal of this experience is to give our volunteers the opportunity to apply their learning and knowledge in a professional environment. Each volunteer will have the opportunity to grow and learn from each other as we strive to make our organization and attractive one for plyers and families from all walks of life. Dream team Basketball  is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization run 100% by volunteers.  The Trustees, Officers, Directors, Coaches, Game Coordinators, and Team Parents are all volunteers.  Without Volunteers, we cannot have a program.  If we do not get enough volunteers, we reserve the right to limit enrollment in any program and refund registration fees.  With your help, we will be able to continue to grow and serve the youth of East Brunswick.  If you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please email;
Looking ahead, there is a need for a new generation of leadership to step forward at numerous key positions, DTB must identify volunteers who are interested in filling these positions to ensure a smooth management transition between now and then if we want to remain a healthy and successful organization.

The following, are job descriptions of positions we are always looking to fill:
Trustees are responsible for the business affairs of Dream Team basketball, Inc. (DTB). These responsibilities include ensuring the financial viability of DTB, setting policies and rules, managing relationships with Local Commumnity and School District, and purchasing products and services. 
Officers, who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of this non-profit corporation, report to the Trustees (see immediately below).  Trustees can also serve in Officer positions.


1. President:     CORDELL BOSTIC  

 The President functions as the Chief Executive Officer of DTB.  His responsibilities include the following:
·        Supervises all business and operational affairs of DTB
·        Presides at all meetings of the Board of Trustees
·        Presides at all Monthly Staff meetings
·        Serves as DTB’s primary liaison to our local community  as we aim to be an organization dedicated to youth in basketball, but more importantly thebetterment of youth and young teenagers
·        Serves as a member of the USBA( United States Basketball Association)
·        Secures Basketball Courts
·        Public Relations and Publicity
·        Negotiates contracts with suppliers and authorities

2. Vice President: VASAVIA BOSTIC 

The Vice President shall perform all duties of the President in the absence of the President. The Vice President will usually also hold one of the other Officer positions in addition to the title of Vice President.  The Vice President reports directly to the President.


 The Treasurer supervises all of the financial affairs of DTB. The Treasurer’s responsibilities include the following:
  • Collection of all fees and dues and their deposit in an account in the name of DTB
  • Keep an accurate account of all financial transactions and rendering a report to the Board of Trustees, when requested
  • Payment of all invoices
  • Purchasing insurance and equipment from vendors necessary to run DTB
  • Negotiate all contracts with vendors
  • The Treasurer reports directly to the President


The Secretary maintains all records of DTB, such as corporate documents, registration forms, and annual lists of players. The Secretary’s responsibilities include the following:
·        Provide notice and keep minutes to meetings of the Board of Trustees, Monthly Operations Meetings, and selected Ad Hoc committees
·        Manage letter, email, and telephone message center correspondence
·        Maintain league database
·        Maintain other documents necessary for the operation of DTB
·        Distribute and collect registration forms
·        Ensure that DTB has a working mailing and email address
·        The Secretary reports directly to the President

5. Webmaster VACANT:

The Web Management Coordinator is responsible for the smooth running of DTBs Web Page as well as social media pages, one who ensures the prompt posting and removal of content on the site.  Responsibilities include the following:
  • Propose and implement new site designs and functionality
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the web host company to resolve performance issues
·        Setting up a database of all email addresses for communication
·        Updating the respective division programs with Coach information, session/practice/game schedules, school information, and any changes that occur during the season
·        Input game scores and update standings
·        Send out correspondence as needed
·        Respond to and/or disburse any emails that are sent to the Webmaster account
·        The Webmaster reports directly to the President

6. Director of Basketball Operations –


 The person is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations of their program.  He/She is responsible for the following:
  • Disseminate information to the prospective players Coaches & parents 
  • Ensure all game scores are being reported to the Webmaster
  • Help resolve any issues that may occur during the season
  • Assist in any award ceremonies    
  • Attend monthly operations meetings
  • The VP of Basketball Operations reports directly to the President. HEAD COACH & ASSITANT

11. VP of Basketball Operations/Program Director – Lil Dreamers(aGES 3-6 YEARS old) VACANT: 

The person serving in the role of VP of Basketball Operations of LIL DREAMERS  is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations of their program.  He/She is responsible for the following:
  • Disseminate information to the respective Session Coordinators, Coaches, etc.
  • Help resolve any issues that may occur during the season
  • Assist in any award ceremonies
  • Attend monthly operations meetings
  • The VP of Basketball Operations reports directly to the President


To help Dream Team  Communicate  important information to parents on your team, especially those who do not have access to the internet,We need parents commited to be those extended moms and dads of our program, He/She  ultimately Repsonsible for:
  • Facility Setup
  • In-Event Tasks
    • Registration
    • Coaches’ Meetings
    • oversee of group gatherings
    • Hydration during Events 
    • One Parent Per Team Certifed in CPR
  • Facility Teardown & Clean-Up
  • Miscellaneous Responsibilities (as needed)
